The site is down, the pup is up....for grabs!

Before I get onto the topic of this post. The "When worlds collide" show opened last week. It looks amazing and I'm in crazy work mode but I will get up some photos of the show and pointers to the related sites you should visit very soon.

So if yo did your daily visit to map-map.co.uk today you would have got really angry to see it's down for refurbishment. But then that anger would fade as you noticed this guy above trying to say what's going on.

Well like I and he is saying it's all up for a full makeover. But don't worry because there is a double bonus on how to get over not seeing my neglected old website. Because if you want to know about the moment my website goes live again by joining my mailing list you will also be entered for a chance to win the little website building helper you see above. Win Win right? Right!

So to join the mailing list/enter my competition go to map-map.co.uk and after you stop staring at the photo of my filthy desk/cute chubby pup scroll to the bottom of my page enter your name and email then bash the GO button with your mouse! done.

So close...

It's very close indeed now! For all the info and tasty links just scroll down a tiny bit click all the highlighted text you can. And I'd recommend you really do that, everyone else in the show have also thrown out some really tasty teasers of what they have to unleash, it's amazing glimpses all round and I'm still buzzing with excitement to see what everyone else has put together.

I'm tying all my ropes and dotting all my js now so whilst the glue fumes make me feel oddly nice I'll say woo de hoo lookey here!

“When Worlds Collide” A 7 man show of apocalyptic proportions.

Opening reception Feb. 24th 5pm-9pm

Feb 24th-March 24th

Screaming Sky Gallery Portland,OR
(their website)

Josh f+ Pearce, DrilOne And Kevin Gosselin will also be at the reception, so if you can get down there, go and say hi to them. Josh says he usually goes out and parties after a show, so go and join them with a trendy bottle of cider.

So go and get on this show. I'm very excited to see what it's all going to look like so hopefully you'll be excited 1/7 more than even I am or more if you can somehow be more excited than me.

I'll leave you for now with a photo of a closed eyed cat featured in my colliding world. Do you like him (and does that sound needy?)?

Big&Tiny #ff08

If in some alternative reality I let myself
look out the window from time to time
and saw how the real world looked, and
then I took what I saw and let it
influence what I created Troy Stith would
be probably be on my ass for copying his
ideas.
Everything he does just makes me
wonder if his home town is in some
distant land full of wonder and awe then
he's just sculpting miniature copies of his
walk down the road.
Such loving detail that I hope you'll check
out more of what he does, and then
someone hires him for an amazing set
design, or maybe to create the best ever
model railway set....or full scale railway set!

My last proper unveiling of the year

Well it's near the end of the year and I've enjoyed almost every moment within it. I've met many brand spanking new people who create and enjoy art in all it's flavours with some meetings on and off line blooming into many past and future excitements.

So now I'll just say thank you very much and leave this last commission of the year! There are many more goings on before I have a little rest but their super secret although I promise a tease very soon...maybe a montage or something like that?

See you all soon and enjoy yourselves whatever religions or atheisms you're into. And try the nut roast it's very nice I promise!

My Sketchbot custom: SUPER MEGA FORTEMIS WINS

So now it's been a little while I thought I'd put this custom I'm personally quite proud of up on the blog in full orange light tint removed splendour. I must say my main source of pride is just from being part of the Sketchbot custom show 2 at munky king, it has such a great list of people, who also luckily went on to create great customs (I'll put all the links that people should go to at the bottom of the post)

Click for big in Flickr version

At this present moment mine along with way too many other worthy pieces are still up for grabs and all I can say is if you can afford food and rent then have a little left over for the extras in life do buy one or two or everything. They're all worth every dollar and to have something like Jyru's Save me (the last dance) or Scott Tolleson's Stranger v.7 or any other that takes your fancy placed on your shelf can never be a bad thing.

The sketchbot custom exhibit at munky king is on until 24th of December for any more info check http://www.munkyking.com/gallery_events.php?id=131&year=

To buy my piece you see above go to http://www.munkyking.com/Shop_item.php?id=1697&cat=41&sub=0#

For all the other sketchbot custom buying joy it's all at http://www.munkyking.com/Shop_cat.php?cat=41&sub=

And if you want to get a clean and tidy original sketchbot look around http://sketchbot.tv/Sketchbot/index.html
